Duke Energy Field Trip Scholarships

Field trip scholarships to The Schiele Museum are now available to Gaston County non-profit organizations serving Gaston County children. These scholarships have been made possible through a generous one-time grant from Duke Energy.

  • Scholarships cannot apply to summer field trips that have already been requested.
  • Scholarships are available only for children and organization staff. Chaperones are not eligible.
  • Transportation is the responsibility of the organization.
  • Trips must be scheduled June – August 2026.

Gaston County non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply!

What to know about the application process:

  • Applications will be reviewed weekly on Mondays.
  • If a scholarship is awarded, The Schiele Museum will contact the applicant to schedule a summer field trip.
  • Applications will close when the grant is expended.
