KID’s QUEST IS FULL FOR THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR. Thank you for your support.

For children in grades K – 5

Kid’s Quest features the awesome exhibits, resources, and staff expertise of the Schiele in a STEM-based afterschool program designed to meet the needs of your family.

Kid’s Quest provides students with enriching science, cultural, art, outdoor activities and homework help each day after school.

Fantastic experiences include:

  • Live animals, planetarium shows, art, and cool hands-on explorations of science, history, and culture
  • Homework support
  • Outdoor time each day (weather permitting)
  • Daily snacks
  • Games, recreation, and social time with friends

Kid’s Quest is available for children in grades K – 5 

Enrollment is currently closed, but you can add your camper to the waitlist.
The program is available Monday through Friday from school dismissal to 6 PM. Kid’s Quest will provide transportation each school day to the museum from listed schools. To maintain our social distancing standards, our programs have strict capacity limits, so early registration is recommended.

Kid’s Quest monthly fees 
$395 Museum Members / $475 Non-Member.

When is payment required?
Kid’s Quest fees are billed on a monthly basis and due prior to participation. All sales are final unless Schiele Museum operational plans change due to circumstances beyond our control.

Early dismissal / teacher workdays
Kid’s Quest will provide extended programs for planned early dismissal days at no additional charge. Kid’s Quest will include an option to participate in full-day experiences on all Gaston County Schools work days for an additional fee of $35 per child (members) and $40 per child (non-members) on those days.  Full-day experiences will operate from 7:30 AM – 6 PM. Lunches must be sent with children on full-day experiences.

Space is limited
Kid’s Quest will meet the needs of students through high-quality experiences and small class sizes.  Our program will adhere to guidelines for health and safety from the CDC, state and local authorities.
