Kid’s Quest Afterschool Adventures
For children in grades K – 6
Kid’s Quest features the awesome exhibits, resources, and staff expertise of the Schiele in a STEM-based afterschool program designed to meet the needs of your family.
Kid’s Quest provides students with enriching science, culture, art, outdoor activities and homework help each day after school.
Fantastic experiences include:
- Live animals, planetarium shows, art, and cool hands-on explorations of science, history, and culture
- Homework support
- Outdoor time each day (weather permitting)
- Daily snacks
- Games, recreation, and social time with friends

Kid’s Quest is available for children in grades K-6.
Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year is now open.
The program is available Monday through Friday from school dismissal until 6 PM. Kid’s Quest staff provide transportation to the museum from participating schools each school day.
Kid’s Quest monthly fees
$445 for museum members / $525 for general public each month for 10 months – August through May.
Museum members save $800 per year on Kid’s Quest fees! Participating families are encouraged to become Schiele members. Get membership information.
When is payment required?
Kid’s Quest fees are billed in 10 equal payments and due upon receipt. All sales are final unless Schiele Museum operational plans change due to circumstances beyond our control.
Early Dismissal / Teacher Workdays
Kid’s Quest is available during planned Early Dismissal days and Teacher Workdays. Participants also have access to Winter Camp during Gaston County’s winter break. These days are offered at no additional charge.
Space is limited
Kid’s Quest offers high-quality experiences and small class sizes. Our program has a strict capacity limit that meets guidelines for health and safety. Early registration is recommended.

2026 – 2027 SCHOOL YEAR
Please note that submitting this form does not guarantee a spot in the program. If space is available, a nonrefundable deposit equal to the cost of your first payment for each child will be required to hold your spot for the 2026-2027 school year. Forms will be processed starting in mid-April. Thank you for your interest!

DAY CAMP ADVENTURES is open to Kid’s Quest participants and the general public, and offers hands-on fun and learning in a safe environment.
