Prehistoric Adventures Outreach

PrehistoricAdventure300X300

Calling all budding paleontologists!

Students will learn about various types of fossils, then conduct a mini fossil dig to find specimens from the North Carolina coast. It is not unusual for them to uncover animal teeth, coral, shells, and tiny bones during the dig. They will get to keep what they find!

Meets curriculum for grades 2, 3, 7. Program can be adapted to meet the learning level of participants.

ALL PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES ARE DESIGNED TO MEET CDC, LOCAL, AND STATE HEALTH AND SAFETY STANDARDS.

Take a field trip to The Schiele! A similar program, Fossil Lab, is also available as field trip presentation at the museum.
