Evening Planetarium Shows

Join us in the planetarium each month for Friday Night Lights, where you can enjoy a special evening presentation under the dome! We offer a new program each month, ranging from live shows about the local night sky to feature presentations.

Tickets are $5 for Schiele Members and $6 for non-members; children ages 3 and younger admitted free.

Discover the stars, planets, and other celestial events visible in the sky tonight. This program will give you the skills you need to find your way around the night sky. Sit back, relax, and see what’s up in The Sky Tonight! 


Please note that this showing will be limited to 50 tickets.

Two Small Pieces of Glass

Friday, May 8 at 7 PM

While attending a star party, two teenagers meet an astronomer who enlightens them on the history of the telescope and the discoveries these wonderful tools have made. Explore how two small pieces of glass have help us see further than ever before!


Shows begin promptly at their scheduled time. Due to the planetarium’s dark environment, late admission or re-admission once a program begins is not permitted; please arrive early to allow time for seating. All programs are subject to change without notice. While we make every effort to present the shows as listed on our website and in our events calendar, we may need to substitute shows.
