Scouts can experience an exciting After Hours event at the Schiele Museum!
With three different program formats, your group is sure to find the right program of exploration and discovery to fit your needs. The Schiele Museum After Hours programs are perfect for helping scouts complete badge or pin requirements. They also provide enrichment opportunities for groups who want to experience nature, science and culture.
Each After Hours event includes interactive activities, museum exploration, an evening snack, and breakfast (for those who spend the night).
Each participant will also earn a Schiele Camp Patch!
Pitch your tents along the Nature Trail. Explore the Catawba Village, The Farm, the outdoor Play Space, and Natural aMAZEment mazes. Go inside the museum to explore the exhibits, see a planetarium show, and enjoy a Meet the Animals program. Event includes an evening snack and breakfast on Saturday morning and a museum patch.
May 5 – 6, 2023 (This event is full!)
5:30 PM – 9 AM
$35 per participant
Spread your sleeping bags in the museum exhibit galleries and sleep surrounded by wild animals! During the evening, see a planetarium show, enjoy a Meet the Animals program, and explore the museum exhibits. On Saturday morning, explore The Farm, see the Catawba Village, and enjoy Natural aMAZEment, the Nature Trail, and the Play Space. Event includes an evening snack, breakfast, and a museum patch.
April 14 – 15, 2023 (This event is full!)
6:30 PM – 9 AM
$35 per participant
Have a fun-filled evening in the Schiele Museum without spending the night. Attend a planetarium show, see a Meet the Animals program, and go on an evening exploration of the museum exhibits and The Farm. Event includes an evening snack and museum patch.
