Gemstone Mining

Outdoor program available March – November

Recommended for all ages

Get hands-on with geology during this interactive experience! Students will mine for minerals in a running water sluice on the Nature Trail. They will use an identification table to examine and classify the minerals they find. Miners keep their treasures!

ALL PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES ARE DESIGNED TO MEET CDC, LOCAL AND STATE HEALTH AND SAFETY STANDARDS.
