The Schiele Museum is open!
As of March 2022
In accordance with the guidance of North Carolina and guidlines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), The Schiele Museum encourages the use of masks while in the facility. The Schiele Museum will follow the recommendations and guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), state and local officials regarding masking. Face coverings/masks must be worn (covering the nose and mouth) while visiting the museum regardless of vaccination status.
As of May 2021
On May 14, Governor Cooper lifted some restrictions under Executive Order 215 for North Carolina. Per the Executive Order, there are places which still require a mask (covering the nose and mouth). The museum also provides our own children’s classes, programs, and summer camps making it necessary to wear masks under this Executive Order. In following recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and as stated in the revised order, face coverings /masks are recommended for those who are not vaccinated and for all people in large venues.
