“The Lost Masterpieces” is a German documentary that traces the events surrounding the shocking heist and the eventual return of the masterpieces of Schloss Friedenstein. Gotha mayor Knut Kreuch will host a viewing of this fascinating film at The Schiele Museum on Sunday, March 26 at 2 PM. The showing is open to the public and part of a celebration of 30 years of “Sister City” status between Gotha and Gastonia. 

This FREE showing of “The Lost Masterpieces” is presented in German with English subtitles. Those who attend can also explore the museum at the conclusion of the film. Join us!
