Solar Eclipse Weekend

Experience the much-anticipated solar eclipse! While we won’t be in the path of the total eclipse here in the Carolinas, celebrate a partial eclipse The Schiele! Look through solar-safe viewing equipment and participate in activities related to the moon and sun with our astronomy experts:
Saturday, April 6, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Sunday, April 7, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Monday, April 8, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM**
**Maximum solar eclipse visibility occurs Monday, April 8 at 3:11 PM. Plus, enjoy a special solar eclipse treat on Monday while supplies last!
Caution: Always wear proper solar eclipse viewing equipment when viewing the eclipse. Solar eclipse glasses are for sale at the admissions desk for $3 each. Solar Eclipse Weekend activites are included with museum admission.
