Bouling The Stones

Workshop filled. Call 704-866-6912 for waiting list.
British lawn bowling, French boules, and Italian bocce all owe their heritage to a Roman game played with stones. We will explore the varieties of the game and go back even further in time to discover the pre-Roman, prehistoric ancestor of them all. Participants will create their own game stones and counters. We'll then learn to play the game and its historic versions. Contact Steve Watts at 704-866-6912 for more information on Aboriginal Studies Workshops.
