New Earth Science Exhibit Hall--Creepy Nature!
Creepy Nature is designed to share the actual science of weird and unusual plants and animals. This exhibit features horror fiction concepts like vampires, zombies, mummies, and alien invaders!
Discover the truth behind these mythologies as you follow the expedition of our hero through undersea perils, mysterious jungles, forbidding swamps, and an abandoned mine. What lurks in these environments is stranger than fiction – it’s Creepy Nature!
Creepy Nature features comic art by illustrator James Lyle from Waynesville, NC.
John Forgan, Senior Vice President, Group Manager Corporate and Institutional Banking of PNC Bank, said: “PNC Bank is proud to partner with the Schiele Museum of Natural History on the Creepy Nature exhibit. PNC Bank has partnered with The Schiele Museum over the past six years on numerous exhibits, but this one is particularly exciting as it ties Science to kids, along with making it exciting for the children and community to interact with the exhibit. This exhibit aligns perfectly with our Grow Up Great Philanthropic Foundation and we are excited to support the Schiele Museum in its efforts to help enhance Children’s knowledge in the region.”
On opening day, Schiele Museum members will have exclusive access to a "first look" view of the Creepy Nature exhibit from 9am-10am. The exhibit will open to the public at 10am on June 2nd!
