Calling all buckaroos!

Join us for demonstrations of lariat spinning, calf roping and fire building. You'll even pick up some campfire cooking ideas. "Prarie" dogs and buckaroo burgers with all the trimmings head the menu. You can take a hayride and try a little branding -- on boards, not bovines! Don't miss this great fundraiser that promises fun for the whole family!

Tickets: Museum members  $15/adults, $10/children

Non-museum members: $20/adults, $15/children.

The Haunted Swamp

October 17, 18, 24, 25, 6 – 9 PM

Come see what's creeping out of the gloom of our swamp! Swamp legends and legendary creatures take over the night as The Schiele takes you on a swamp tour you'll never forget! Scary, but no gore. Best for ages 8 to 14. Planetarium shows, vintage movies, refreshments and more! Don't miss it! All groups must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets: $7. Planetarium tickets: $3. Scottish Heritage Day

Sunday, October 26, 1 -- 5 PM

Learn about the Scots of the American Revolution as we celebrate our region's Scottish heritage with bagpipes, kilts, Scottish country dancing and more. See border collie herding demonstrations and furry, red Highland cattle.
